Dental Therapist Positions Available: Full time, Part Time, Permanent and Temporary 

Locations:

North West Adelaide District (Marleston & Parks and surrounding clinics):  2 x full time permanent (part time considered), full time temporary till 1/1/27, part time temporary (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) till 14/11/25 and part time temporary (2 days/ week) till 30/3/26.

Marion:  2 x part time permanent (Tuesday & Thursday) 

Noarlunga: Full time permanent (part time considered) 

Whyalla/ Port Augusta: Full time permanent (part time considered) 

Port Pirie: Full time permanent (part time considered) 

Wallaroo: Full time permanent (part time considered) 

Berri: Full time permanent (part time considered) 

Mt Gambier/Millicent/ Naracoorte: 2 x Full time permanent (part time considered) 

Salary

AHP1 - $68,478 - $83,594 p.a. (pro rata) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits

AHP2 - $88,255 - $ 102,240 p.a. (pro rata) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits

Are you a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of others? SA Dental is actively seeking talented Dental Therapist’s to join one of our teams.

As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality general and emergency dental care to children. You will assess and treat a wide range of dental issues, referring patients to other dental professionals for care outside of your defined scope of practice. Working in a collaborative environment, you will be supported to develop further in your role. For experienced practitioners you will have the opportunity to guide and mentor fellow dental professionals, and for those interested, there may even be opportunities to supervise undergraduate students.

You’ll experience true job satisfaction by making a lasting impact on the oral health of children and for practitioners with adult scope, you may also have the opportunity to provide dental care for adults. You will be able to enjoy a supportive environment and a healthy work-life balance.

Key Requirements:

  • Registration or eligibility to register as a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist with the Dental Board of Australia.
  • High level of clinical competence in general and emergency dental care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Dental Board of Australia policies, codes, and standards.
