About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Administration Officer to support the efficient operation of the Support Services team. Reporting to the Manager Support Services, you will provide a broad range of administrative functions including reception and switchboard duties, mail handling, fleet vehicle bookings, and support with systems such as Basware and Oracle. Your work will be essential in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across multiple service areas.

This role also includes responsibility for providing annual leave and sick leave coverage across the Hampstead and Repatriation Health Precinct sites. Your ability to adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality administrative support will make you a valued member of the team in a busy and dynamic health service environment.

About You

You are a detail-oriented and adaptable administration professional who thrives in fast-paced healthcare settings. With strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service, you excel at managing competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

  • Proven experience in general administration or secretarial support, ideally within a rehabilitation or healthcare environment, with competency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage high workloads, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of administrative practices, medical terminology, and a commitment to Equal Opportunity, WHS principles, and customer service standards.
