About the role: 

Reporting to the Hand Therapy Allied Health Team Leader, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Using increasing professional knowledge and skills to provide assessments, interpret findings and plan and implement intervention plans in conjunction with the patient, carers and other health professionals
  • Managing with reduced supervision, non-routine clinical situations when more complex problem solving, professional decision making and practice skills are required
  • Participating in departmental and hospital professional development programs
  • Working collaboratively with other disciplines within SALHN
  • Maintaining and developing clinical and professional knowledge and skills

About you:

  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing service provision needs
  • Demonstrated competency in the clinical management of a broad range of hand therapy conditions
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and database packages
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake the physical demands of the job
  • Demonstrated competency in Hand Therapy assessment and treatment techniques
