About the role

As an Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Core Laboratory. Your responsibilities will include delivering timely, confidential, and quality-focused administrative services that ensure smooth and efficient workflow across the team. You will assist with a range of tasks that support laboratory performance, data management, communication processes, and coordination of resources, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality pathology services.

Working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, you will be the backbone of the administrative function—organised, responsive, and proactive in managing competing priorities. Your commitment to accuracy and confidentiality, along with your strong interpersonal skills, will ensure seamless support across clinical and laboratory teams. About You

You are a detail-oriented and proactive administrator with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Your ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism ensures you provide high-quality support in a fast-paced environment. You are customer-focused, team-oriented, and take initiative in your work, consistently delivering results.

  • Proven experience providing confidential administrative and clerical support using Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively within a team.

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong understanding of confidentiality and professional conduct.

  • Sound knowledge of Work Health and Safety policies and Equal Employment Opportunity principles in a workplace setting.
