Overview

Joining the Administration Casual Pool, you will contribute to the provision of a high quality, confidential, customer focused administrative service to clients, staff and visitors of the Strathalbyn District Health Service. Your duties will include the provision of a reception service, admission and discharge of patients, preparing and running patient/client information reports, word processing, data entry, medical record administrative services and the provision of clerical and administrative support. With prior experience in providing a range of clerical and administrative support services, you will have proven skills in the preparation of medical casenotes and working within a reception and medical records department. You will have sound knowledge of office systems and procedures, including proficiency in word processing packages and data entry. A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal abilities, you will be capable of interacting with people from a wide range of backgrounds and working as an effective member of workplace team. Your commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality will go hand in hand with your ability to demonstrate courtesy, discretion and sensitivity in dealing with telephone and personal enquiries.
