About the Role

As a Research Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality scientific research and support services within a dynamic health-focused research team. Working under the guidance of the Principal Investigator, you will contribute to research planning, data sourcing, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the delivery of robust and meaningful research outcomes. Your role will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen research networks and promote knowledge-sharing across the Unit.

This position is critical to driving research excellence, supporting the development of innovative health solutions, and enhancing the Unit’s research capacity. You will directly contribute to testing key hypotheses and generating evidence-based insights that advance health outcomes. Your commitment to delivering quality research will support the translation of new knowledge into practice, improving health services and contributing to the broader research community.

About You

You will be a motivated and detail-oriented research professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for contributing to high-quality health research. You will possess the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams while also working independently to deliver research outcomes that support the organisation’s goals.

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or equivalent qualification relevant to the research field.

  • Strong skills in data collection, analysis, database management, statistical reporting, and scientific presentation.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, work autonomously or in a team, solve problems, and deliver quality research outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting research projects, contributing to publications or presentations, and applying research methodologies within a health environment.
