About the Role:

This is an opportunity to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as the Director, Health Simulation and Training. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead innovative simulation-based education programmes that directly impact patient care and clinical excellence.

As the Director, Health Simulation and Training, you will oversee comprehensive simulation training initiatives, developing and implementing cutting-edge educational strategies that enhance clinical skills, patient safety and healthcare outcomes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class training programmes for healthcare professionals at all career stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • lead strategic planning and delivery of simulation-based training programmes
  • manage simulation operations and educational resources
  • develop partnerships with key stakeholders
  • ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality frameworks
  • mentor and guide simulation educators and support staff

About You:

To excel in this role you will have extensive experience in developing and delivering high-quality simulation-based education and training, proven leadership and project management capabilities and a strong understanding of contemporary healthcare practices. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health management discipline, business management or project management are highly desirable.
