Join Us as an Equipment Officer – Support Safe and Effective Care Across the Limestone Coast

Are you practical, reliable, and passionate about helping others? We’re looking for a dedicated Equipment Officer to join the Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) within Country Health Connect. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in delivering and maintaining essential healthcare equipment, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality for our clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and safe delivery and collection of healthcare equipment across the Limestone Coast.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of equipment to ensure infection control standards are met.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks, including simple repairs and part replacements.
  • Support day-to-day operations of the Equipment Loan Service office as required.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven ability to maintain a consistently high standard of safety, including manual handling and hygiene.
  • Ability to follow clear work instructions and operate independently.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
  • Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning activities.
  • Experience in basic administrative tasks and record-keeping.
