Join Us as an Allied Health Assistant – Make a Real Difference Supporting Patient Care

Are you passionate about helping others and working as part of a supportive healthcare team? We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to join the Physiotherapy team at the Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN), supporting the delivery of quality allied health services within Country Health Connect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of physiotherapy and allied health treatments under the supervision of qualified professionals.
  • Support patients during therapy by assisting with preparation, mobility, and personal care needs.
  • Carry out delegated clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth therapy sessions and accurate documentation.
  • Contribute to patient safety and wellbeing by following infection control, manual handling, and WHS procedures.
  • Support group-based therapy sessions and help train junior assistants where required.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a service-based environment, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to patient privacy, dignity, and safety in all aspects of care.
