About the Role

As a Level 2 Physiotherapy Assistant in our casual pool, you’ll play an essential role in supporting physiotherapy services across the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Repat Health Precinct and Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre. Working closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals, you'll assist in the delivery of patient care, ensuring treatment plans are carried out safely and effectively to support recovery and wellbeing.

About You

You are a dedicated and compassionate individual with a strong interest in physiotherapy and patient care. You bring practical skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Qualified or willing to undertake a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent), with a strong understanding of safe manual handling and basic life support principles.

  • Physically capable and reliable, with the ability to support patients with disabilities or acute conditions under the guidance of a physiotherapist.

  • Excellent observation and communication skills, able to identify changes in patient condition, respond appropriately, and clearly document care provided.

  • Self-motivated and team-oriented, with the initiative to carry out routine tasks, manage workload independently, and uphold patient confidentiality and care standards.
