WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

This is a unique opportunity to join our Emergency Services Team at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Network!  In the role of Senior Social Worker in our Emergency Service, you will be part of the Emergency Leadership Team, working with dedicated health care staff in the pursuit of providing exceptional services within our community.  In this role you will play a critical role in ensuring that your expertise is used to support any early intervention strategies through the initial assessment, review and screening of presenting patients, including working closely with the Emergency Team to determine suitable therapy options to encourage and support the early and safe discharge of patients to their homes.

In this leadership role, you will provide  mentoring, teaching and clinical development of other Allied Health Professionals, ensuring the development of the multi-disciplinary team across the emergency service.  Your role will be pivotal in providing key inputs into the ongoing design and development of best practice standards in emergency care, and whilst doing so you will ensure that the department continues to strive for excellence in care, first time, very time.
