Rural Generalist Nurse Practitioner (RN/RM4)

  • Salary: RN/RM4 - $137,771 p.a. (plus 20% Attraction & Retention Allowance, superannuation, leave loading, salary sacrifice benefits, and potential meal and accommodation allowances)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Rural Generalist Nurse Practitioner to join Keith and District Healthcare. This diverse role offers a broad scope of practice, allowing you to deliver advanced clinical care across urgent care, primary health, and aged care settings.

You will:

  • Provide services across Urgent Care and ‘inreach’ support to residents of Stirling Lodge Residential Aged Care Facility.
  • Diagnose and treat patients of all ages with acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Deliver advanced nursing care, education, consultancy, research, management, and mentoring.
  • Work with autonomy and advanced clinical decision-making, while collaborating with medical and allied health teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

About You

You will be registered (or eligible) as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold (or be eligible to hold) a current practising certificate. With proven advanced-level nursing experience, you bring strong expertise in urgent care and aged care, as well as primary healthcare coordination and management.

Self-motivated, innovative, and collaborative, you demonstrate leadership, accountability, and a strong commitment to best-practice care.
