About the role:

  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in daily operational oversight and management
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff across the unit
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
  • Manage clinical workflows and coordinate patient care activities
  • Participate in staff rostering, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives

About you:  

  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing standards, policies, and procedures
  • Understanding of quality improvement processes and clinical governance
  • Ability to delegate effectively and make sound clinical decisions under pressure
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
