Technical Developer - Transform Healthcare Technology

About the role: 

Reporting to the Manager, this role will require significant relevant experience and competence within their relevant discipline. They are responsible for providing technical and operational expertise in the design, development, testing and review of appropriate software solutions for reporting systems designed to support evidence-based decision-making in business planning, policy development, service delivery and performance monitoring. They will complete their duties autonomously, control and coordinate substantial elements of SALHN Digital Health business and deliver innovative new technology and methods.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Provide expert analytical services in assessing source systems for the extraction of data for source to target mapping and identify business rules required to obtain comparable data across the system,
  • Provide an analytical resource to document requirements of how these data will be transformed, associated business rules, customer outcomes required and the reporting application design,
  • Working knowledge of the existing systems and applications, within SALHN and the relevant source systems for successful delivery of project objectives,
  • Apply consistent business rules in accordance with SA Health database and develop standards and load data into secure repositories for data quality assurance, reporting and subsequent uses within SALHN.
  • Deliver expertise for the provision of functional advice on complex issues affecting the team in meeting its collective objectives

About you:

  • Microsoft (MCO) and Power BI Certification,
  • Lead the development of SALHN reporting systems and associated applications,
  • Proven experience in advanced computing skills, including C#, MVC, SQL Server, Pascal, RDB,
  • Significant experience in database and web application, design and development,
  • Significant experience in a technical analyst role within a large and complex projects,
  • Five years' experience in developing Health applications,
  • Experience in documenting and presenting technical concepts to technical and non-technical personnel
