WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Join our dedicated team at Strathalbyn and District Health Service Acute Ward as an Enrolled Nurse, where you’ll deliver person-centred care, assist in routine nursing tasks, and support the wider health care team. Under the guidance of registered nurses, you’ll use your skills in patient assessment, care planning, and education to make a meaningful impact. WHERE AND HOW YOU WILL WORK

The Fleurieu Peninsula is just one hour for the city of Adelaide.  It covers the stunning areas and towns of McLaren Vale, through to Strathalbyn, Goolwa, Victor Harbor and Aldinga Beach where you can spend days off experiencing the wineries and award winning restaurants of the southern vales.  Enjoy our stunning coastline from Cape Jervis and Rapid Bay up to Aldinga and Sellicks Beach, whilst only being just over an hour from Adelaide’s CBD.  Catch a glimpse here.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

  • You will use your full range of skills as an Enrolled Nurse to deliver patient centred care at Strathalbyn and District Health Service
  • You will be responsible for working collaboratively within a team of like-minded professionals to deliver such services in a timely and safe manner.
  • You will ensure that all clinical guidelines and practices are applied whilst managing the needs of the patients.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

Working in this environment, it is important to us that we only employ people with the upmost integrity and commitment to serving the South Australian community and its visitors to the highest possible standards.  To ensure that we meet that commitment there are a few checks that you will be required to undertake.  These are detailed on the Role Description, but are likely to include the following:

  • You will need to be immunised. Please contact the Enquiries Person for this position if you have any queries.  Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy. Further information is in the application for to help guide you. 
  • You will need to undergo employment screening, what you require is also on the front page of the Role Description.
  • You will be required to hold registration with AHPRA to practice as an Enrolled Nurse within our organisation.
