About the Role

As a Graduate Radiation Therapist, you will be an essential part of a collaborative and supportive team, working to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care to patients undergoing radiation therapy. You'll play a key role in both treatment planning and delivery, using advanced technology and standardised techniques to meet the clinical goals set by Radiation Oncologists. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic clinical environment where your confidence and competence will grow under the guidance of experienced professionals, with increasing autonomy as you gain experience.

In this role, you’ll not only refine your technical expertise but also contribute to the development of others by supporting students. You’ll be encouraged to participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and approved research projects, contributing to the ongoing advancement of best practices in radiation therapy. About you

You are a motivated and compassionate professional, ready to begin your career in radiation therapy with a commitment to patient-centred care. You bring both technical competence and strong interpersonal skills to a collaborative team environment. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications and registration – A recognised degree in Radiation Therapy and registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.

  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills – Solid understanding and hands-on experience in radiation therapy planning, treatment delivery, and safe clinical practice.

  • Effective communication and teamwork – Proven ability to communicate clearly and work cooperatively in multidisciplinary teams and with patients.

  • Flexibility and professionalism – A proactive, adaptable approach with a commitment to quality improvement, innovation, and maintaining safe and ethical work standards.
