Join our Haematology Clinical Trials Team

The Clinical Trials Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned clinical trials. This involves managing patient and trial databases, helping with trial-related finances, and performing scientific and clinical research tasks. The role reports to the Clinical Trials Unit Manager for Haematology. The incumbent will be a member of the haematology clinical trials unit, located on level two of the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.

About the role: 

Duties for the role will include:

  • Being responsible for the day-to-day management of allocated clinical trials.
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting clinical trial data to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of relevant findings and statistics.
  • Liaising with sponsor companies from initial contact through to study close-out.
  • Ensuring good working practice and compliance with the ICH GCP guidelines and the National Statement.
  • Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture that is highly responsive to the needs of consumers.

About you:

We are looking for a team player who has the ability to work harmoniously as part of a team. The ideal candidate will also have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Science, or an equivalent field.
  • Previous experience in a haematology/oncology environment and in clinical trials.
  • Proven experience in statistics, epidemiology, and/or health economics.
  • Competence in venepuncture and processing of biological specimens.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
