  • Base Salary Range: $74,831 - $102,103 p.a (pro rata)
  • In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, Zone Allowance and once off Incidental Payment (conditions apply), Professional Development Allowance, Locality Allowance and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Hawker Memorial Hospital

The Hawker Memorial Hospital consists of a 13 bed facility which includes 4 acute and 9 aged care beds as part of the Flinders Ranges Multi-Purpose Service (MPS). The hospital provides accident and emergency services, general medical care, palliative care and a range of allied health services. About the Role:

As a Practice Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services within a health service setting, building your expertise from a developing practitioner to a proficient level of professional practice. You’ll consolidate your skills through ongoing professional development and hands-on experience, while taking accountability for your own standards of care and the safe, effective delegation of tasks to others.

About You:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

Applicant Information:

  • This is a part time vacancy, working 16 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
