Exciting Career Opportunity: Occupational Therapist – Regional Health Services EFN

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team and provide a comprehensive range of health services tailored to the needs of rural and remote communities. In this role, you will work collaboratively with health professionals and service providers from other sectors, applying preventative, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation approaches, including individual therapy, group programs, health promotion, and community development projects.

Depending on classification (AHP1 or AHP2), you will work under clinical supervision or reduced direction, with opportunities to contribute to the supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students. You will provide a regional service across multiple communities - including Port Lincoln, Elliston, Streaky Bay, Ceduna, Coober Pedy, Wudinna, Cleve, Cowell, Kimba, Tumby Bay, or Cummins - on a regular and rostered schedule.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on community health while developing your professional skills in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Deliver a broad range of straightforward clinical services using established methods and procedures.

  • Provide individual, group, and health promotion activities.
  • Manage and prioritise personal workload effectively.

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within Occupational Therapy and meet all requirements to maintain current registration with AHPRA.
  • Apply professional expertise and clinical knowledge to provide services in increasingly complex situations.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting and adapting professional methods and techniques.
  • Deliver a broad range of clinical and consultative services, including individual, group, and health promotion activities.
  • Manage personal workload and support team resource allocation and planning.
