An exciting opportunity exists within the SALHN Research Hub for an Administration Officer - Clinical Trials to join us working in a full-time capacity!

About the role: 

This role will assist the SALHN Research Hub Clinical Trials team in the daily administrative function of Clinical Trials across SALHN. 

As the Administration Officer - Clinical Trials duties for the role will include:

  • Working with clinical and administrative teams to ensure the day-to-day functions of the Clinical Trials Unit are effectively delivered
  • Data entry support for active trials and preparation for future programs
  • Conduct basic billing audits for ongoing and closing trials
  • Develop, update and monitor local work instructions for all administration activities
  • Ensure correspondence with all stakeholder is coordinated and documented appropriately and is managed in accordance with the records management practices
  • Maintain cost centre records, monitor expenditure for all purchases within the Clinical Trials Unit, and support financial reconciliation within the unit

About you:

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively across a multi-disciplinary environment, including the capacity to communicate collaboratively with a range of staff and customers
  • Ability to service committees, including minute taking, formulating agendas and attending relevant action items
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Power Point)
  • Experience in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a broad range of staff
