About the Role

As Supervisor, Private Practice Billing, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of accurate, efficient and compliant billing services across one or more SA Health hospital sites. Working closely with the Manager, Hospital Billing Operations, you will oversee invoicing, claiming, collections and reconciliations, ensuring processes run smoothly and meet policy and compliance standards. Your leadership will guide and support site-based billing staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will contribute to the ongoing improvement of quality systems and procedures, helping to shape effective billing operations that support broader hospital and health service goals. With your attention to detail, ability to problem-solve, and commitment to service excellence, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards and delivering meaningful outcomes for staff, patients and the community.

About You

You are a motivated and experienced professional with strong leadership and analytical skills. You thrive in dynamic environments and are confident in leading teams, solving problems, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Proven leadership skills with experience supervising, training and motivating teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Sound knowledge of finance, billing or accounting functions, with relevant systems experience
