Overview

Looking for a "desert change"? Come and join the dedicated nursing team at Coober Pedy Hospital and enjoy the challenges of working in one of South Australia's most remote hospital locations whilst enjoying the outback lifestyle. As an Enrolled Nurse, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with the provision of professional high quality patient care to patients at the Coober Pedy Hospital.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Midwives.
  • Contribute to patient assessments, care planning, and clinical procedures within your scope of practice.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to deliver safe and effective services.
  • Support patients, families, and carers with health education and care coordination.

About You:

  • Enrolled (or eligible for enrolment) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practising certificate.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to provide culturally responsive care and work with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in nursing care delivery within a health care setting.
