Overview:

  • The Principal Project Officer, Community Resilience is responsible for the consultation, planning and development of strategic and operational plans to respond to incidents affecting the community in areas of community capacity, social engagement and mental wellbeing.
  • This position will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, striving to understand the different perspectives of South Australian communities and the mental wellbeing impacts on affected populations. This will involve analysing data, providing advice, writing high-level documents, and negotiating complex issues.
  • The Principal Project Officer, Community Resilience will have an initial focus on progressing the current mental wellbeing initiatives in response to drought and algal bloom, and then utilise these learnings in the development of a safeguarding framework which outlines the Preventive Health SA responsibilities and action to prevention, preparedness, response and recovery.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
