About the role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrative Officer to join our Division of Medical Imaging. In this role, you will provide a high-level, multi-skilled, and confidential administrative support service specifically tailored to Women and Children’s services. Working independently within a structured environment, you will ensure all administrative functions, patient encounters, and related processes are managed efficiently and accurately, while seeking guidance as needed to maintain seamless operations.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Officer who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Technical Skills: Highly developed experience with Local Health Network patient information systems, electronic booking systems, and Microsoft Office; strong word processing and data entry accuracy.

  • Client Service: Proven ability to provide professional, sensitive, and efficient support to clients and staff in a reception or administrative environment.

  • Organisational Abilities: Demonstrated experience in prioritising tasks, managing workloads, meeting deadlines, and contributing effectively within a team.

  • Healthcare Knowledge: Working knowledge of patient service delivery processes and procedures within a Local Health Network, ensuring smooth and accurate administrative support.
