Overview:

The Manager, Procurement is accountable to the Director Corporate Services, Preventive Health SA, for the provision of expert advice and services in relation to best practice procurement, grant and contract management across the agency.

The Manager, Procurement role includes but is not limited to:

  • Management of the Procurement function across Preventive Health SA
  • Managing a broad range of high level strategic and operational services related to procurement, grant and contract management, as well as contract analysis, invoice and basware system management to support to the Chief Executive, other Executives, and Preventive Health SA leadership.
  • Facilitating procurement, grant and contract arrangements for select goods and services to ensure value for money is realised.
  • Providing expert and strategic advice on the progression and development of systems and processes, training and education, and monitoring, reporting and compliance functions for procurement, grants and contract management.
  • Establishing and managing relationships with key suppliers and service providers and external stakeholders including Procurement and Supply Chain Management in the Department for Health and Wellbeing, and Procurement Services SA.
