About the Role

Join Central Adelaide Local Health Network’s Mental Health Clinical Program and provide critical psychiatric care as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team at the Cramond Clinic, based at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will deliver expert, evidence-based treatment to patients while driving innovation and quality improvement in mental health services.

In this senior leadership role, you will offer clinical guidance to junior doctors and multidisciplinary teams, support service delivery improvement, and contribute to research, training, and teaching. You’ll also participate in on-call responsibilities and play a key role in patient flow and care planning. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a progressive and respected service making a real difference to the lives of patients and their families.

About You

You will be a dedicated psychiatric specialist with strong clinical leadership, mentoring abilities, and a commitment to improving patient-centred mental health care.

  • Fellowship with RANZCP and specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia

  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical care and leadership in mental health settings

  • Proven teaching and supervision experience with registrars, junior doctors, and students

  • Required to hold a current Working With Children Check, National Police Clearance, and be subject to vaccination requirements
