Join Southern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Project Manager and lead transformative healthcare initiatives that directly impact our community's wellbeing.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Performance this multi-classified role is responsible for Providing leadership in the delivery of major projects in alignment with program plans and SALHN strategic objectives in a climate of significant reform and continuing change, ensuring accountability is maintained.

 Duties for the role will include:

  • Maintaining effective management of programs and projects, including stakeholder management and provide support to clinical divisions.
  • Supporting the management and rollout of the SALHN Project Management Framework, including supporting uptake across the organisation through coaching and mentoring
  • Maintaining an effective and disciplined change management and control framework for programs and projects.
  • Proactively driving a culture of disciplined risk management. 

About you:

  • Able to identify performance outcomes, set priorities, plan and schedule work to achieve objectives and meet deadlines within a context of competing work demands/priorities and tight time frames with proven ability to be resilient and work positively in a changing high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable effective interaction and achievement of result including research of, and preparation of a range of documents/correspondence including board level reporting and management information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills which demonstrate a capacity to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders on a range of sensitive and complex issues to achieve positive outcomes. 

This is a single vacancy, with three possible appointment classifications. The successful applicants will be appointed in the position appropriate to their skills, qualifications, and experience. 

Please note that this position is multi-classed as either a ASO8, RNM3, AHP4 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
