Please note these positions are multi-classed as AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by knowledge and experience.

Both the AHP1 and AHP2 Rural Generalist Dietitian roles with Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) will be joining a dynamic and expanding multidisciplinary team, offering diverse opportunities for clinical growth and collaboration across the network.

Join Our Growing Dietetics Team

LCLHN is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Rural Generalist Dietitians (AHP1 & AHP2) to join our expanding team, which includes Dietitians, Allied Health Assistants, Administration Officers, and Food Service Dietitians working together across the Limestone Coast region.

About the Roles

  • Opportunities to work collaboratively in clinical services spanning paediatrics, outpatient clinics, acute inpatient settings, and Residential Aged Care Facilities throughout the entire LCLHN network.
  • Positions are available at both entry-level (AHP1) and experienced (AHP2), with clear pathways for supervision, mentorship, and leadership development.

Student Supervision and Education

  • LCLHN is committed to education: We host clinical dietetic students annually, and successful applicants will have the chance to support, mentor, and supervise students as well as junior allied health professionals, in line with their clinical experience.
  • Staff are encouraged to contribute to ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and knowledge sharing within a vibrant clinical network.

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in Dietetics and eligibility for practising/full membership in the Dietitians Association of Australia.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with the community.
  • Willingness to travel and engage across the Limestone Coast region.
  • Commitment to developing your professional skills, supporting students, and contributing to continuous improvement within the team
