About the Role

As Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a key role in leading and supporting your team to deliver safe, high-quality and compassionate care. Drawing on your clinical knowledge and leadership skills, you will oversee the coordination of patient care, ensuring continuity and excellence across the unit. This role offers the opportunity to guide, mentor and inspire nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining a strong focus on patient-centred outcomes.

In this position, you will accept accountability for practice standards, team performance and the creation of a positive and supportive workplace culture. With a focus on aligning practice with policy and driving improvement, you will be instrumental in shaping a caring and professional environment that enables patients, clients and staff to thrive. About You

You are a dedicated nursing professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.   • Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing Board of Australia

  • Proven leadership and management experience in nursing and/or midwifery practice

  • Strong communication, problem solving and team collaboration skills

  • Ability to drive quality improvement, staff development and positive workplace culture
