  • Temporary up to 6 months and part-time working 3.25 hours per week 

About the Role

You’ll have the opportunity to provide high-quality clinical services to patients across our Cardiology Unit, contributing to innovative models of care and shaping best practice in the design and delivery of cardiology services. Your leadership and clinical insight will help ensure every patient receives the compassionate, world-class care they deserve.

This role also offers an exciting platform for academic and professional growth. You will play an integral part in expanding our basic and clinical trials research program, with a particular focus on the emerging intersection of Artificial Intelligence and cardiovascular disease. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to teaching and training within the department, helping nurture the next generation of cardiology clinicians and researchers. About You

You are an experienced, collaborative and forward-thinking cardiology professional who is committed to excellence in patient care, research and continuous improvement.

  • Highly qualified clinician with MBBS (or equivalent), specialist registration with AHPRA, and ideally an MD, PhD or higher degree in a relevant field.

  • Proven expertise in cardiology, including clinical management of cardiovascular disease, involvement in research and clinical trials, and interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence applications.

  • Strong communicator and team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, and the flexibility to adapt to evolving clinical and organisational needs.

  • Committed to professionalism and quality, demonstrating leadership in teaching or supervision, dedication to personal development, active participation in quality improvement, and adherence to professional standards and best practice.
