About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic Pharmacy team as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA2). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive pharmacy service that supports the health and wellbeing of both inpatients and outpatients. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient dispensing and distribution of medications, assisting in reception and cashier duties, and supporting the manufacture and packaging of pharmaceuticals. You will also support daily pharmacy operations by assisting with stock control, ward restocking, software processing of prescriptions and providing clear and accurate dispensing labels in line with PBS, SAS, and hospital guidelines.

In this hands-on role, you’ll provide technical training and guidance to staff, assist in the preparation of pharmaceuticals, and help maintain compliance with legislation and departmental procedures.
