- AHP2: $91,785 - $106,330 p.a (pro rata) + superannuation + salary sacrifice benefits
- RN/RM2: $87,416 - $110,497 p.a (pro rata) + superannuation + salary sacrifice benefits
- Temporary Part Time working 60.8 hours per fortnight over a 5 day roster, up to 12 months
WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional passionate about mental health care for older persons? Join the Consultation Liaison Service (CLS), part of the Rural and Remote Mental Health Services, where you will help streamline specialist older persons care pathways, provide expert consultation via telepsychiatry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve consumer outcomes.
The Consultation Liaison Service (CLS) is part of the Rural and Remote Mental Health Services Older Persons Mental Health Specialised Services based at Glenside campus, working closely with the Rapid Inreach Service and covering all regional Local Health Networks in South Australia. CLS aims to streamline specialist older persons care pathways, provide expert consultation via telepsychiatry, and facilitate inpatient admissions.
As an Older Persons Consultation Liaison Clinician, you will use your clinical experience and mental health expertise to deliver comprehensive, person-centred care and consultation services. Working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate mental health interventions tailored to the needs of older consumers, their carers, and families. Your role will include supporting consumer recovery, providing clinical leadership, mentoring less experienced staff and students, and contributing to service improvement initiatives, research, and quality assurance activities. You will collaborate closely with other health professionals and community agencies to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
