About the Role

As a Social Worker within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Mental Health Clinical Program, you’ll play a vital role in supporting consumers on their recovery journey. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver evidence-based, person-centred care that promotes wellbeing, stabilisation, and empowerment. You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact through psychosocial assessments, care planning, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation services, all while helping individuals build capacity for self-management and sustained recovery in the community.

About You

You’re a compassionate and skilled Social Worker who brings a strong commitment to recovery-focused, person-centred care. You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment, using your professional expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of consumers, their families and carers.

  •  Hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, with eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgement and experience providing comprehensive psychosocial and mental health assessments, interventions and recovery plans.
  • Excel at building therapeutic relationships, working collaboratively with consumers, carers and community services to deliver coordinated care.
  • Bring excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
