Join our dynamic team, providing high-quality Social Work services to both inpatients and outpatients. You will play a key role in social work assessment, service planning, and direct clinical service provision at either the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Hampstead and Repatriation Hospitals within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN).

We are seeking a dedicated early career (less than 12 months experience) Social Worker to help patients and families adjust to health challenges by providing counselling, support, and education.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and interventions to assist patients and families in coping with their situation.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, actively participating in ward rounds and meetings.
  • Work within both CALHN services and the community to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Access and utilise community resources to support patient care across multiple locations.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and research to drive service excellence and best practices. 

Qualifications

  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
