About the role

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality paediatric dental services within the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. You will lead service planning and evaluation, support clinical governance and quality improvement, and collaborate with staff and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key duties of the role

  • Provide an effective and efficient paediatric dental service aligned with departmental and hospital objectives.
  • Encourage and support teamwork and coordination amongst staff to achieve optimal clinical service outcomes.
  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to planning and evaluating paediatric dentistry services.
  • Maintain quality and safety improvement through professional development, departmental meetings, and practice audits.

Skills and Experience

  • Registration as a Dentist or Dental Specialist with the Dental Board of Australia.
  • Ability to provide consultancy and advisory services to management and staff while maintaining integrity and confidentiality in sensitive matters.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across a wide range of sensitive and complex issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
