About the role

Provide proficient, person-centred nursing care within a defined team while supporting the Regional Team Manager in leading clinical, operational, and education activities. This role combines hands-on care with team coordination, mentoring, and service improvement responsibilities.

Key duties of the role

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to achieve best client outcomes
  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff and students to build capability and performance
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations, staffing, and workload allocation within the team
  • Support service planning, change management, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure effective, integrated service delivery

Skills and experience

  • Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience or current Clinical Nurse classification
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Sound knowledge of professional standards, codes, and clinical governance principles
