Take the Lead in Health Information Management with EFNLHN

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Health Information Manager to join the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN). This pivotal role provides expert advice and leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health information systems and services across the network.

As Health Information Manager, you will ensure EFNLHN meets its statutory and local requirements in health information, medical record management, clinical coding, casemix, and policy and procedure development. You’ll play a key role in supporting data integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in the provision of advice and the ability to identify, develop and maintain standard operating policies, procedures and work practices and ensure compliance with relevant health information management policies, procedures, regulations or standards.
  • Experience in data evaluation with particular emphasis on the accuracy and completeness of ICD-10-AM clinical coding in accordance with coding and case mix reporting standards and requirements.
  • Experience in the development and conduct of training courses and workshops that facilitate the learning of others by the application of suitable presentation techniques.
  • Experience in the design of health record forms.
