About the Role

As a Nurse Educator – Cellular Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the knowledge, skills, and confidence of nurses delivering care in complex cellular therapy settings. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will design, develop, and deliver high-quality education and training programs that support nurses working in areas such as allogeneic stem cell transplantation, CAR T-cell therapy, and apheresis. Your contribution will be central to building clinical competence, enhancing patient safety, and ensuring the highest standards of care across all stages of the cellular therapy process.

In this specialised role, you will also provide ongoing professional support, mentorship, and education to nursing staff within cellular therapy wards, the apheresis unit, and ambulatory care. You will help align nursing practices with accreditation frameworks, including FACT/JACIE, NATA, and Stem Cell Donors Australia, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. About You

You are an accomplished and forward-thinking Registered Nurse or Midwife with a passion for education, clinical excellence, and professional development. With a strong foundation in nursing practice and a deep understanding of cellular therapy, you bring creativity, leadership, and collaboration to your role. You are dedicated to empowering others through high-quality education, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care across complex clinical settings.

  • Professional Credentials: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practising certificate.

  • Educational Expertise: Demonstrated experience in nursing education, staff development, and the delivery of engaging, evidence-based presentations on advanced clinical topics such as stem cell transplantation and CAR T-cell therapy.

  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, inspire others, and promote consumer engagement and positive change.

  • Knowledge & Innovation: In-depth understanding of accreditation frameworks (FACT/JACIE, NATA, Stem Cell Donors Australia) and a commitment to applying innovative, quality-driven approaches to education and clinical practice.
