Join SA Health as a Technical Developer in our Southern Adelaide Local Health Network Regional Office. This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to healthcare technology solutions that directly impact patient care across South Australia until 3 April 2026.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Principal Technical Analyst & Developer this role will require relevant experience and competence within their relevant discipline. They are responsible for providing technical and operational expertise in the design, development, testing and review of appropriate software solutions for reporting systems designed to support evidence-based decision-making in business planning, policy development, service delivery and performance monitoring

Duties for the role will include:

  •  Assist in Identifying and resolve complex technical issues affecting the development of the Data and Analytics Team, Digital Health SALHN.
     
  • Working in a fast-paced environment characterised by complexity, innovation and change.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders to facilitate adoption of centralised clinical reporting solutions.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication to facilitate efficient resolution of issues.
     

     

About you:

  • Work positively and accurately under pressure in pressure situations.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and logical manner with all levels of personnel with varying levels of information technology literacy with regard to technical, business and administrative matters.
  • Self-motivate, meet deadlines, manage, and organise workloads and priorities and be flexible.
  • Identify and analyse abstract problems of a complex nature, formulate and document practical solutions with recommendations, and implement them within time and budgetary constraints.
