WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated General and ACEM Trainees to join our Emergency Department team at Mount Barker District Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on a temporary full-time basis. In this role, you will manage the care of allocated patients with the full support of senior medical staff, working closely alongside nurses and allied health professionals.
You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic ED environment, including after-hours support for the inpatient medical unit, participating in a 24/7 roster, and coordinating patient discharges in consultation with carers and GPs. You will also contribute to high-quality handovers, clinical documentation, and ongoing patient care.
This role offers excellent learning opportunities, including participation in continuing education and Quality Improvement initiatives, allowing you to develop your clinical skills, teamwork, and professional growth in a supportive, collaborative environment.
