About the role

As a Nuclear Medicine Therapy Fellow, you will join a dynamic and highly specialised team dedicated to delivering high-quality therapeutic nuclear medicine services. Working under supervision, you will support the safe and effective delivery of nuclear medicine therapies, ensuring excellence in patient care and contributing to the ongoing advancement of clinical practice. You will have the opportunity to build hands-on experience within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of therapeutic procedures and cutting-edge technologies.

In this role, you will also contribute to research initiatives that support innovation and continuous improvement across the service. You will work closely with clinicians, medical imaging specialists and allied health staff, strengthening your clinical skills while engaging in meaningful research activity. This position is ideal for an emerging professional seeking to deepen their expertise in therapeutic nuclear medicine while making a valued contribution to patient outcomes and the future of the specialty.

In this role, you will bring:

  • Qualifications & Registration
    MBBS or equivalent and eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
    MD-P2: General Registration with completion of RACP basic training (written and clinical exams for RACP trainees).
    MD-P3: Specialist Qualification and eligible for Specialist Registration.

  • Clinical Skills & Experience
    Demonstrated clinical excellence with advanced medical training in Medicine and experience contributing to multidisciplinary meetings.

  • Communication & Patient Care
    Strong communication skills and the ability to engage empathetically and appropriately with patients, families and colleagues.

  • Professional Attributes
    Ability to work with minimal supervision, make sound clinical decisions, and apply broad clinical knowledge in complex care environments.
