About the Role

Join our dedicated Allied Health team as an Administrative Officer, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Allied Health Directorate. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide high-quality administrative support across a range of disciplines, contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services. Every day will bring variety — from greeting visitors and managing telephone enquiries to assisting with invoices, purchase orders, and general office coordination.

You’ll be a key point of contact for staff and stakeholders, helping to keep things running seamlessly behind the scenes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive team environment, thrives on organisation and attention to detail, and takes pride in providing outstanding administrative service that helps our clinical teams focus on what they do best — caring for our community.

About You

You’re an organised, proactive and professional administrator who enjoys supporting others and keeping operations running smoothly. You take pride in your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to deliver high-quality work in a busy and rewarding healthcare environment.

  • Proven ability to provide efficient, accurate and professional administrative support while managing multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Oracle Procurement and other administrative systems, with a willingness to learn new programs.

  • Experience in a hospital or clinical environment, with sound knowledge of confidentiality, quality administration practices and medical terminology.
