Overview:

The Engagement and Participation Lead is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating engagement and participation strategies that ensure the voices of people with lived experience of mental ill-health, their families, carers, and priority populations are heard and valued. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will facilitate inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally safe engagement practices, ensuring that insights are translated into actionable outcomes that inform policy, advocacy, and communication activities across the OMHC. The role will also lead and drive the delivery of major projects and initiatives, ensuring co-design approaches are embedded across stakeholder engagement activities. Co-design knowledge, skills and experience are essential. Personal lived experience of mental distress and recovery is welcomed and considered highly desirable, but not mandatory.
