Set in Adelaide’s iconic parklands, the site will provide people with a connection to Kaurna country and allow our dedicated clinical staff to provide a therapeutic approach to patients to enhance their recovery and wellbeing.

The Senior Project Officer – Procurement will be responsible for:

  • Leading procurement activities for the New Women’s and Children’s Hospital Project including planning, documentation, supplier negotiation and contract management.
  • Ensuring procurement processes comply with DHW specified delegations, policies, standards and procedures.
  • Leading and / or coordinating a range of complex and/or sensitive projects, including reporting, document control, issue resolution and escalation activities
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on the status of project deliverables / actions against project objectives defined at commencement to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are met.
  • Apply skills and experience in the authoring and preparation of high level procurement documentation, project plans, submissions, policy and briefings in accordance with government legislation and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
