Join Southern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Part-time Enrolled Nurse - Clinical Worker Health at the renowned Flinders Medical Centre. About the role: 

Reporting to the Clinical Worker Health Registered Nurse this role is to provide nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings. Practice at this level is from novice to proficient Enrolled Nurse practice.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Providing evidenced based care, developing clinical skills while keeping up to date with professional standards of practice and quality management initiatives consistent with organisational policies.
  • Recognising and responding to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalating appropriately to the Clinical Worker Health Registered nurse appropriately.
  • Management of and embedding change to ensure consistent best practices and processes which ensure delivery of best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Working with employees where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds.

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of health unit staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and leader.
  • Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards
  • In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.
