About the Role

As a Neurology Consultant at our hospital, you will play a pivotal role in providing best-practice care to patients admitted to and referred to the Neurology Unit. This includes delivering high-quality inpatient neurology services allocated on a pro-rata FTE basis, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to their needs. You will be an integral member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient outcomes and clinical care.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of neurological care through involvement in hospital and system improvement initiatives. The role also offers the chance to engage in clinical research and contribute to the teaching and training of junior medical staff, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Neurology Consultant who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Holds MBBS (or equivalent) with Specialist Registration and AHPR credentials.

  • Demonstrates excellence in clinical practice, professional integrity, and teamwork.

  • Committed to quality improvement, adaptable to change, and experienced in clinical governance.

  • Possesses contemporary medical knowledge, understanding of patient rights, and workplace safety and EEO principles.
