Join Our Team as a Direct Care Worker (Residential) – Support Residents to Live Safely and Comfortably

About the Role:

As a Direct Care Worker (Residential), you will provide hands-on support and care to residents, working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, Hotel Services Manager, and the wider multidisciplinary team. You’ll assist with daily activities, promote resident wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution of a position.
  • Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
  • Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.

  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check 
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
