About the Role

As the Waitlist Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the clinical units within the Surgery Program by coordinating surgical bookings and managing the waitlist with precision and care. Working closely with the Head of Unit and other key stakeholders, you’ll ensure that administrative processes run efficiently and that patients receive fair and timely access to care. Your attention to detail and ability to streamline workflows will help uphold the highest standards of accuracy and service delivery.

In this role, you’ll enjoy working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team while also exercising a high level of independence. You’ll take pride in maintaining transparent systems and contributing to a patient-centred environment where every action supports quality outcomes. About You

You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. With strong organisational skills and a commitment to patient-centred care, you work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth and efficient waitlist coordination.

  • Demonstrated experience in hospital or healthcare administration, including surgical bookings and waitlist management

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally across all levels

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management, with proficiency in electronic systems and Microsoft Office Suite
