  • Temporary Full Time role working over a 7-day roster up to 31 March 2027

 

Take a leadership role in shaping and delivering Remote Health Monitoring (RHM) services across regional South Australia, supporting patients with chronic and complex conditions while guiding and developing a high-performing nursing team. In this role, you will lead the implementation of effective and efficient RHM services, using telehealth and home monitoring technologies to reduce hospital admissions, shorten patient stays, improve access to care, and support patient self-management. Your leadership will foster team performance, continuous improvement, and high-quality, safe nursing practice across rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the RHM nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Support the development, implementation, and expansion of RHM services across regional SA.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance on telehealth and home monitoring for chronic and complex conditions.
  • Identify service and system improvements and implement strategies to optimise patient care and workflow.
  • Oversee the integration of health technologies into nursing models of care, ensuring high-quality and safe practice.

The RSS is a business unit in SA Health and provides services throughout regional South Australia to support the six regional local health networks (LHNs). It employs around 260 people who work in 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, or in the RSS’s three Adelaide offices.
