About the Role

As a Mental Health Enrolled Nurse (MHEN), you’ll play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centred care that supports individuals on their journey to recovery. Working closely with Registered Nurses and a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services within a supportive and collaborative environment. Your care will reflect the values of SA Health and align with national mental health standards, ensuring every consumer receives safe, respectful and empowering support.

About You

You’re a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Mental Health Nurse who brings clinical skill, professionalism and a genuine commitment to supporting consumer recovery and wellbeing. You thrive in a team environment and take pride in delivering person-centred care that reflects SA Health’s values.

  • Qualified and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible for) a current practising certificate

  • Skilled and capable in mental health nursing practice, including assessment, care planning, and therapeutic interventions

  • Collaborative and compassionate—able to work effectively with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Knowledgeable and reflective, with understanding of recovery frameworks, professional standards, and mental health policies
